Church History

 

Dr. Barbara Bailey was born in Nashville, Tennessee where she met and married Pastor Mark Bailey.  They have been blessed with one son, William a daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn a granddaughter, Anesia  and grandson William better known as Trey.

 

She received her BS degree in education from Tennessee State University in Nashville Tennessee. She also obtained a Master's degree in Counseling and Special Education from North Carolina Central University in Durham NC. Dr Bailey furthered her education by receiving a degree in Christian Education from Heritage Bible Pentecostal Freewill Baptist College located in Dunn NC and her Doctorial Degree under Dr. Dennis M. Golphin from Living in Favor (LIF) Bible College in Rocky Mt, North Carolina.

 

Presently, she is a counselor and the head of the Guidance Department at North Garner Middle Magnet School in Wake County.

 

Pastor Mark G. Bailey received his BS degree in civil engineering from Tennessee State University, in Nashville Tennessee.

 

Presently, he is a North Carolina Building Code Consultant with the North Carolina Dept of Insurance Office of State Fire Marshal

 

Mark and Barbara Bailey attended the Glorious Church in Raleigh, NC for 17 years where they served in various capacities.  Mark served on the Deacon Board as head Deacon and Board of Trustees.   Barbara served as The Director of the Cathedral Choir, and as the associate pastor under the leadership of Bishop William Spain. 

 

Barbara Bailey received her Certificate of Ordination from the Glorious Church on August 7, 1994.

 

Mark Bailey is an ordain elder and is presently working on his

ordination .Bishop William S. Spain, Pastor of the Glorious Church

is serving as his mentor.

 

Mark and Barbara was encouraged by Bishop Spain to start a Bible Study Cell Ministry in their home in 2002 to prepare to move into full time ministry.

 

 

We applied and received our Federal tax exempt status and State Incorporation in 2003.

 

As it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and Bishop Spain, Mark and Barbara Bailey moved out into the vineyard and establish Compassionate Covenant Care Ministres located in Garner, NC. August 2004.

 

We are affiliated with the International Council of Pentecostal Ministries (ICOPM) where the founder and Chief Prelate is Bishop William S. Spain.

 

Our Worship Services begins at 10:30, however we are flexible.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Luke 4:18

 

Statement of Purpose

 

Because JESUS is Lord, the purpose of this Ministry is to worship GOD and fulfill the Ministry of JESUS CHRIST in the earth by: Aiding the recovery of addictive mindsets;

Raising up and army of soul winners and disciples; Restoring troubled teens to a right relationship with GOD; Showing the hope and compassion of our LORD and Saviour to the World.
